A thick, sweet milk-based drink with slices of fried bacon. It is served hot and traditionally complemented with rosemary syrup. Occasionally, more original syrups are used, such as pine needle or elderflower. To achieve its thickness, roasted (to remove the raw taste) sorghum flour is used, though rice flour or corn starch is also occasionally substituted. This drink is considered a hallmark of the season of silence.
